The Sunday School Hour — 9:00am

Morning Watch

Upstairs in the Chapel, Pastor Mike, Hannah Perryman, and a rotating team of volunteers lead a group time for elementary through high school youth. “Morning Watch” is modeled after morning devotions and worship at Camp Sawtooth, our regional Methodist summer camp. We sing, talk about a scripture story, pray for each other, and then have time for crafts, board games, and fellowship.

Pre-K

Come downstairs to room 31 for crafts, songs, and stories with Claire Kosmicki and Stacey Jensen. During the pandemic, Claire & Stacey taught confirmation for our older kids. They recently took over the Pre-K class from Miss Charlotte Creswell, who faithfully taught it for over 50 years.

Nursery, 0-4 years

Drop your little ones off downstairs with Abigayle, Alex, and Will starting at 8:45 on Sunday mornings. All our nursery workers have passed background checks and been trained in our Safe Sanctuaries abuse prevention policies.

Worship Prep & Song Leaders Practice

The 9:00-10:00am hour is also when we get things ready for our worship service. Volunteers handling audio, Communion, music, food, and other aspects of worship are encouraged to arrive by 9:00am to prepare.

Adult Sunday School & Conversation

Upstairs in the Fireside Room, all adults are welcome to come together for group discussions of various topics related to faith, spirituality, the Bible, social issues, and life experiences. Each week, a different individual is responsible for facilitating discussion on a topic of their choice. We thank Roger & Donna Boe for their many years of faithfully organizing the adult class, and we dedicate our exploration of this new model to them!

More to come

Not seeing something for you? Talk with Pastor Mike about it. There is plenty of room to grow our Sunday morning offerings, and we’d love to create small learning groups that fit your needs, interests, and life stages.
