In need of some shelf-stable groceries or hygiene items to get through the week? Visit the First UMC Blessing Pantry at 200 N 15th Ave. The pantry is located in the glass box Wesley Entrance closest to Lander (which runs between the church and Pocatello Heights). The pantry is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While the congregation takes up a special collection for the pantry every 3rd Sunday of the month during worship, we are always ready to accept gifts to the pantry. To suport it, you can drop food and hygiene items off at the church during office hours (Mon-Thur, 9:15am-1:00pm) or visit our Giving page.

24/7-Acces Food Pantry

Once a month, First UMC hosts a free, nutritious, community meal for all that we call “Crowded Table”. This ministry was started in 2025 as a response to rising economic pressures on local families, policy violence targeting the social safety net, and a recognition that many folks in our city feel disconnected from community.

Prep for the meal begins at 9:30am on the scheduled date, and the meal is served from 11am-1pm. Friends from within and beyond our congregation are welcome to come and eat together.

Visit our Giving page to support the monthly meal.
