Our Pastor, the Reverend Dr. Eric Brown

Eric has been pastor of the Pocatello First United Methodist Church since July of 2003.  He arrived in Pocatello after 6 years of service at the United Methodist Church in Sherwood, OR and 3 years of service at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Stockbridge, GA.

Eric has received his Doctor of Ministry from George Fox University in Portland, OR in December of 2005.  He completed his Masters of Divinity at Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta, GA and his Bachelor's degree at Portland State University in Portland, OR.

Pastor Eric is the father of Griffin and Sophia and husband to Adriana.  When not doing church things, Eric enjoys all manner of outdoor things, like skiing, biking, and hiking.  But, the truth is, with two small children, mostly what Eric does when he is not at the church is be a dad and chase small children.
